This unique product originated in 1908 in a small factory in Chicago Illinois.  Great Grandpa Reed set out to produce a product that would have the same effect on a surface scratch as the meat of an almond.  He knew that it was not always convenient to have almonds on hand, so he created a product that would blend the scratched area with the surrounding finish, just as an almond would do if rubbed on a scratch.

Thus the Amazing "Tibet Almond Stick".  At first, it was sold only for industrial use, such as moving companies. Eventually it worked its way into furniture stores, hardware stores, mail order catalogs and other home improvement stores.

Today, the "Tibet Almond Stick" is manufactured in a factory in Addison, Illinois, and shipped all over the world.  We take pride in our family business, as it has been handed down with the fourth generation now doing the production work.  Each and every almond stick is checked by hand to assure that our customers receive nothing less than a perfect product.
